Principle

The printing process of the printing machine is a one-time exposure process. The film and the screen are tightly attached, and the air is extracted by a vacuum pump to form a vacuum, so that the two are close to the glass plane. Then the light source is exposed to the photosensitive layer on the screen through the film. After the exposure, the air is automatically released to complete the printing operation. Based on the photochemical reaction of the photosensitive material, the photosensitive material is coated on the screen, and a chemical reaction occurs under ultraviolet light to form the printed part of the pattern or text. The accuracy and high quality of the printing effect are ensured by controlling the exposure time and intensity.

Structure

• Light source device: Iodine gallium lamps, LED lamps, etc. are mostly used as light sources. Their spectral distribution is consistent with the photosensitivity characteristics of the screen, which can fully expose the photosensitive layer of the screen. For example, the wavelength of gallium iodine lamp is distributed in the range of 350-450nm, which is effective for most photosensitive layers of plate exposure, and has matching triggers, reflective lighting devices and cooling fans, etc.

• Exposure room: A closed room composed of working glass and rubber gaskets, in which the screen and film are placed. The working glass must be smooth, flat, transparent, and free of scratches, bubbles and other defects to ensure the exposure effect and imaging quality.

• Vacuum chamber: Mainly composed of vacuum pump, vacuum display meter, solenoid valve and suction pipe, the function is to extract the air in the closed room, provide appropriate negative pressure, make the screen and the original plate fit closely, and prevent problems such as virtual network during exposure.

• Electrical control system: including computer panel, control circuit, timer, etc. The computer panel has a power switch, display window, exposure button, vacuum button, etc., which can preset, query and modify parameters such as exposure and vacuum time. The operation is simple and convenient, and can realize automatic vacuuming, exposure and timing functions.

• Frame: It adopts a flip-up frame cover mechanism, with a flexible rubber cloth and a vacuum pump to achieve full vacuum adsorption and ensure the stability of the plate during the exposure process.

In the process of making the screen, it is a very important process to transfer the pattern on the film to the screen printing plate coated with photosensitive adhesive, which is done by the printing machine. The working table of the plate printing machine is transparent glass, and the glass is under the UV lamp tube.
