Power source
• Pneumatic screen printer: The power mainly comes from compressed air. Through pneumatic components such as cylinders, the energy of compressed air is converted into mechanical motion to achieve the up and down movement of the screen and the left and right movement of the scraper. For example, when printing, the air pressure is used to make the scraper scrape at a uniform speed on the screen, and the ink is printed on the object through the screen.
• Electric screen printer: Rely on electric drive motors to provide power. The motor drives the various parts of the screen printer through transmission devices such as belts, screws or gears, such as controlling the lifting and lowering of the screen and the movement of the scraper.
Motion performance
• Pneumatic screen printer: The movement is usually fast and powerful. The pneumatic system can instantly provide greater force, so that the scraper scrapes quickly and the screen is pressed down quickly. However, the accuracy of pneumatic movement is relatively low, because the air pressure is easily affected by factors such as air source pressure fluctuations and pipeline losses. For example, when the air pressure is unstable, the scraping speed and force of the scraper may change slightly.
• Electric screen printer: higher motion accuracy. The motor speed and angle can be precisely controlled, so as to achieve precise adjustment of the speed and position of the screen printer parts. For example, the height of the screen can be precisely controlled to make the screen fit the surface of the printed matter just right, which is conducive to improving the printing quality, but the speed of the electric screen printer may not be as fast as that of the pneumatic screen printer.
Control method
• Pneumatic screen printer: the control is relatively simple and direct. The speed and strength of the action are mainly controlled by adjusting the air pressure regulating valve, solenoid valve and other components. For example, the air pressure entering the cylinder is changed by adjusting the air pressure regulating valve, thereby controlling the scraping force of the scraper.
• Electric screen printer: generally controlled by complex circuit systems and microprocessors. Various parameters such as motor speed and motion stroke can be set on the operation panel. Moreover, electric screen printers are easier to realize automatic control and programming, and can store multiple printing modes and parameter settings.
Maintenance
• Pneumatic screen printer: the focus of maintenance is on pneumatic components. It is necessary to regularly check whether the cylinder, air pipe, air valve and other components are leaking, and clean the air filter to prevent impurities from entering the pneumatic system and affecting its normal operation. The maintenance work is relatively simple, and the technical requirements for maintenance personnel are not particularly high.
• Electric screen printer: Mainly maintain electrical components such as motors and circuit boards. It is necessary to pay attention to the heat dissipation of the motor and prevent the circuit board from being damp and short-circuited. The maintenance of electrical components may require professional electrical knowledge and equipment, and the maintenance difficulty is relatively high.
