Principle of UV curing machine

UV curing is to use ultraviolet rays of a specific wavelength to make the colloid containing photosensitizer polymerize to form a solid state. This process is also called photocrosslinking or photopolymerization. The photoinitiator in UV ink is a compound that is easily excited by light. After absorbing light, it is excited into free radicals, and the energy is transferred to photosensitive molecules or photocrosslinkers, which promotes the photocuring reaction of UV ink.

Features of UV ink on plastic bottles

• Strong adhesion: The specially treated UV ink cures quickly under ultraviolet light, can be tightly bonded to the surface of the plastic bottle, and is not easy to fall off or wear. Plastic products such as electronic product shells, even if they are frequently rubbed and collided.

• Fast drying speed: UV ink can be dried instantly under ultraviolet light, and can be immediately processed or packaged for shipment, greatly improving production efficiency. It is suitable for fully automatic mechanized operation, saving labor, workshop and storage space.

• Good resistance: It has excellent wear resistance, water resistance, solvent resistance and weather resistance. For different materials such as PET, PP, PE bottles, there are various types of special UV inks for selection. The printed products are wear-resistant and alcohol-resistant, and the ink layer is not easy to fall off.

• Environmentally friendly and pollution-free: UV ink does not contain solvents, there is no problem of volatile organic compound emissions, low odor, environmentally friendly, and meets environmental protection requirements.
